Miki’s exhaustive list of likes:
Content warning: My likes contains dark scenarios of various kinds, proceed with attention, some of the themes listed here could be triggering.
Umbrella CW for noncon, violence and abuse
Favorite themes:
I like characters with glasses. Glasses are very important. A character should never lose their glasses, and if they have them broken or unusable for some reason, they should be impaired, and not act as if they suddenly healed from whatever they had to their eyes.
Negative environments:
A character having to deal with somebody obsessed with them, and going through stalking, gaslighting, and even if people around them believe them, they can't do anything to save them.
(Note on this: In the past this was also a theme of misgendering and conversion for a trans person, making them wear the wrongful gendered clothing, using the deadname, etc.but now I can’t stand this kind of humiliation anymore.)
(i can excuse the rape but i draw the line at transphobia)
Themes of imprisonment, being shut in a place where they are being abused but can't escape, might be a federal prison, a mental asylum or a basement and slowly losing the hope of ever being able to be free again.
Hanahaki disease: A character not knowing they are in love with somebody they are not even supposed to be in love with, starting to spit out flowers and absolutely refusing to acknowledge the feelings until risking their own life. (Modified version of hanahaki where you have to confess your feelings no matter if the other person reciprocates or not)
Gore themes:
Broken bones. Especially the fingers
Impalement in a non-vital section of the body,
Vivisection,
Unethical medical procedures,
impregnation via both “regular way”, or a syringe implanted in the uterus.
Waking up in a blood covered bed because of a miscarriage.
Favorite negative scenario ever:
A character became comatose because of head trauma, being kept in that state by drugs, and becoming the object of obsession of somebody and becoming their living doll.
Positive environments:
Favorite positive scenario ever:
Domesticity. Finally getting to a point where two characters are so used to each other they know every little detail just to make the other be happy and smiling.
The sunrays are coming into the kitchen and one of them is wearing the other’s pajama’s top. They yawn. And they have breakfast together.
